Group Size
The beauty of
booking a Russian Gateway educational trip is that we do not
insist on minimum numbers for bookings. On our standard Twin
Centre tours for 'non school' tourists we send over 1000
people to Russia per year , mostly couples on individual
tours with personal guides and driver so we are very
experienced in this form of tourism. Many of our competitors
are not, insisting on set dates with minimum numbers or the
group gets cancelled.
So whether your school party is 6 or 60, we will provide you
with an accurate quotation from the outset. Under normal
circumstances we provide 1 free place for every 11 paying
pupils. We can of course include in your quotation extra
teachers should you require a higher teacher to pupil ratio.
We do say that 36 is the ideal group size as there are 36
places in an overnight train carriage and if we have at
least 36 then we can commandeer a whole carriage for our
exclusive use. We also have dealings with Russian Railways
and can often add on a carriage to an ordinary train if your
group has enough numbers.
